The Journal of Historical Research in Marketing is the only quarterly, peer-reviewed journal publishing original academic research that focuses entirely on marketing history and the history of marketing thought. Its key audiences are marketing scholars and practitioners, business historians, social historians, cultural historians, and social scientists.

JHRM currently has planned special issues on medical marketing history and Spanish advertising and marketing history. JHRM welcomes manuscript submissions to the special issues from CHARM members.
